Beam Center Open Call for big projects

"Beam Center believes that all young people are capable of spectacular things. We’ve been proving it for 17 years in schools across NYC and at Beam Camp, where young people realize large-scale projects designed by world-class architects, artists, and engineers. Each year, Beam has conducted an international search for spectacular project ideas to be built at Beam Camp in New Hampshire. For the first time this year, we are putting out an Open Call for three big ideas for our three locations: Beam Project NH - located at Beam Camp; Beam Project GI - located at our newly launched Beam Camp City on Governors Island; Beam Project NYC - to be built in the Bronx as our next city-based public artwork"

JBC Masonry Innovation Competition

"IMI’s JBC Masonry Innovation Competition wants your ideas for transformative masonry design. We’re challenging practicing and aspiring architects and engineers to advance the future of masonry design and construction. We're giving away $30,000 in prizes across 3 entry categories: Students: Undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in an accredited design, architecture, or engineering school.; Young Architects/Engineers: Any architects or engineers under the age of 40.; A/E Firms, Individual Architects/Engineers, & Cross-Category: Architecture/engineering firms, architects and engineers age 40 and over, and cross-category teams"
