Yesterday, the AIA and ASLA New York chapters announced their joint selection of ten projects for this year’s 2024 AIANY + ASLA-NY Transportation + Infrastructure Design Excellence Awards.
The annual competition is presented along with program partners from the AIA Austin and ASLA Illinois. Led by the Best in Competition winner, the new Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru – Terminal 2 in Bengaluru, India, from SOM and Grant Associates, the field was chosen by a select jury panel that evaluated projects based on their sustainability, community engagement, and civic qualities.
Categories for the Awards included Open Space, Planning, Projects, Structures, and Student Work.
