"The Texas Society of Architects Studio Awards recognize unbuilt projects that demonstrate excellence in design. Real or theoretical projects that go beyond the boundaries of architecture to address current critical issues are encouraged. Submissions from students and practitioners are judged on equal footing, and projects of all types are considered together. The jury looks for entries that: embody strong ideas critical to contemporary practice; resolve these ideas thoroughly; and present them clearly."
