This honor is given to individuals whose lifetime contributions to the profession and to the BSA have been uncommonly profound.

Ann M. Beha FAIA is Principal of Ann Beha Architects, a Boston-based firm known for its exploration of heritage in dialogue with contemporary design. Marked by strong educational and cultural content, and widely honored, Ann Beha’s design work captures place and history, responding in fresh, modern, and innovative ways. She founded ABA 40 years ago to address the overlooked potential of preservation and adaptive reuse to revitalize cities and communities, and expanded the firm’s practice to award-winning new design, nationally and internationally.

Earl R. Flansburgh Young Architects Award
Vince Pan AIA, principal, Analogue Studio
This award, currently on its sixth year, recognizes design excellence by an architect under 40. The award is named for Earl R. Flansburgh FAIA, a distinguished Boston architect who generously supported emerging professionals and advocated for women architects.

Vince Pan AIA, principal, Analogue Studio. Recipient of the Earl R. Flansburgh Young Architects Award.

Since founding Analogue Studio in 2011, Vince Pan has built the firm into an award-winning architecture and branding practice, with a growing roster of happy clients in the startup, education, and hospitality industries. As the firm’s Principal, Vince ensures that every project — from a brand campaign to a university student center — benefits from Analogue’s interdisciplinary approach and passion for design-based problem solving.
