Winning student concrete masonry projects selected in ACSA competition

The Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture has unveiled the winners of its 2025 Concrete Masonry Student Competition. Run in collaboration with the Concrete Masonry & Hardscapes Association, the competition “recognizes six outstanding projects that utilize concrete masonry products as the primary material in the design of a state-of-the-art Fire Station, with an emphasis on local civic engagement.”
For this year's contest, students were challenged to design a fire station and associated accommodation. Each of the resulting winners “emphasizes the use of concrete masonry as a flexible, resilient method to convey form, function and expression,” the organisers added.
The winning schemes were as follows:
FIRST PLACE
