The nominees for the 2025 Créateurs Design Awards have been announced ahead of a special ceremony to be held in Paris on Saturday, January 18th.

Joining the previously announced Andree Putman Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Norman Foster and Le Prix Charlotte Perriand Award winners from SANAA (Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa) were the 14 category nominees (three of which are for Architecture). The CDA says each uniquely elicits the "global outlook of creativity, blending tradition with innovation" with Lina Ghotmeh's critically popular new workshops for the Hermès brand outside of Paris leading the field as perhaps the best-known example.

Others, including Philippe Starck, Studio MK27, and Sumayya Vally, will look forward to hearing their names called live from the Shangri-La Paris hotel. A look back at the 2024 edition of the Créateurs Design Awards can be found here.
