Returning once again to the historic Reford Gardens of Grand-Métis, Quebec this summer, the 19th edition of the International Garden Festival is a month away, and construction of this year's landscape art installations has begun! Open from June 23-October 7, the festival's “Playsages II — Go Outside and Play!” theme continues its exploration of play from last year's event.

Out of 148 proposed designs from 27 countries, only seven installations were selected for the 2018 exhibition. However, they will be displayed with the six “playsages” from the 2017 festival, as well as 13 other gardens returning for exhibition. Nestled within Reford Gardens, the installations will create inviting spaces where visitors can gather and play and enjoy the great outdoors. Take a peek at the 2018 installations below.
