The Seattle chapter of the AIA has unveiled the winners of its 2022 Honor Awards, celebrating the work of architects based in the state of Washington. The 15 award winners were selected from 100 submissions and included both built, conceptual, and research-based work.
The jury panelists, who hailed from KieranTimberlake, LOHA, Atlas Lab, and the University of Washington, praised the selection’s “high level of design excellence in projects that delight, inspire and enrich their communities all while having a positive impact on the environment.”
Below, we have republished the winners, categorized as Awards of Honor, the Energy in Design Award, the Awards of Merit, the Honorable Mentions, and the Young Voices Selection, which seeks to engage and elevate the voices of young designers across the state.
