UNStudio’s “kaleidoscopic catwalk” installation from the RIBA Shanghai Windows Project 2014

Reflecting its surroundings and twisting above passers-by, UNStudio's Xintiandi installation was part of the RIBA Shanghai Windows Project 2014 that happened this past spring at the Xintiandi Style Retail Mall in Shanghai.

The temporary installation explored the concept of display and its relationship to public interaction. Based on these photos, the project seems to have been successful in executing that.
