"Expertise France in collaboration with the Tunisian Ministry of Culture and with the support of the European Union announces the launch of the international one-stage design competition for the Requalification of Byrsa Acropolis and Rehabilitation of the Carthage National Museum in Tunisia. The International Union of Architects (UIA) endorses this competition as being in accordance with UNESCO’s regulations on international architectural and urban design competitions and the UIA’s best practice recommendations."

Young Climate Prize
Register/Submit Deadline: Monday, Oct 31, 2022

"The World Around is proud to announce a new initiative that strives to mobilize the global design and architecture industry and enable positive change at a meaningful scale. The inaugural Young Climate Prize is an open invitation for young people under the age of 25 anywhere in the world to share their work and activism. At a time when the future offers few glimmers of hope, we want to invest in the generation born into this ecological crisis, support and highlight their creativity, talent and passion, and meaningfully connect them to a wide and expansive network of practitioners who can champion their projects, careers and futures."

Wege Prize 2023

"Wege Prize, organized by Kendall College of Art and Design’s Wege Center for Sustainable Design with support from the Wege Foundation, is an annual competition that ignites game-changing solutions for the future by inspiring college/university students around the world to collaborate across institutional, disciplinary, and cultural boundaries to redesign the way economies work. Participants contend for $65,000 (USD) in total cash prizes, all while helping to show the world what the future of problem solving looks like."

2022 Brick in Architecture Awards
Register/Submit Deadline: Tuesday, Nov 1, 2022

"The Brick Industry Association (BIA) has opened entries for the international 2022 Brick in Architecture Awards, featuring a new category for thin brick projects. [...] As the nation’s leading architectural design competition featuring fired-clay brick, all submissions must use clay brick as the project’s primary building material. Entrants must be either an architect or designer employed by an architectural, design-build or landscaping design firm."
