Award recipients receive featured coverage in Landscape Architecture Magazine, the magazine of ASLA, and in many other design and construction industry and general-interest media. Award recipients, and their clients will be honored at the awards presentation ceremony during the ASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture in 2024."

Call for Applications: Researcher-in-Residence
Registration/Submission Deadline: Friday, March 8, 2024
"In 2024, the MAK Center for Art and Architecture and the SOM Foundation initiated Researcher-in-Residence, a joint residency program based in Los Angeles to provide space and time for rigorous work that addresses pressing issues related to the built environment. Each year, a $5,000 fellowship and summer residency are awarded to an architect, artist, and/or researcher based in the United States to conduct original research that contributes to the current topic."

Registration Deadline: Wednesday, April 10, 2024
Submission Deadline: Wednesday, June 5, 2024
"The Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA) is pleased to announce the 24th Annual Steel Design Student Competition for the 2023-2024 academic year. Administered by the ACSA and sponsored by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), the program is intended to challenge undergraduate and graduate students, working individually or in teams, to explore a variety of design issues related to the use of steel in design and construction. Steel must be used as the primary structural material and contain at least one space that requires long-span steel structure, with special emphasis placed on innovation in steel design."

UIA 2030 AWARD – Second cycle
Registration/Submission Deadline: Friday, April 12, 2024
"The International Union of Architects, in collaboration with UN-Habitat, has announced the launch of the second cycle of the UIA 2030 Award. This biennial award promotes the work of architects contributing to the delivery of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development together with the New Urban Agenda. [...] Synchronised with the World Urban Forum (WUF), the award invites all architects around the world to submit entries for built projects that demonstrate design quality and have made significant contributions towards achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)."
