From Dreams to Rail-ity: Ideas Competition to Re-purpose Former Tanjong Pagar Railway Station in Singapore

"How will you re-imagine the former Tanjong Pagar Railway Station (TPRS) in Singapore as a unique heritage and recreational node along the Rail Corridor? [...] The Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore has launched an ideas competition to hear your ideas on how the TPRS can be transformed into a vibrant and multi-functional community building, with inviting public spaces for all to appreciate the unique heritage of the site. This will help to guide the formulation of plans and actions to re-purpose TPRS to serve the community in its next stage of development."

"We are seeking a design for a globally unique museum building that redefines Helsinki as a destination for architecture, design, arts, and culture. "The 2024 competition challenge is to design a new building on a middle school campus in East Los Angeles (East LA), California. While the brief is to design the project for the Griffith STEAM Magnet Middle School, Architecture is an ideas competition and not a 'real' project. Students and professionals participating in Architecture at Zero will design a new building that will replace relocatable classrooms and is to include science labs, art classroom, maker space, outdoor learning environments, and a teacher workroom."
